  1. Hey Dave and James,Loved the show – Viva La Revolucion! From your to-do list, I’m looking forward to all of it, but the things that really stood out to me as things I’d like to hear first are the Microhone technique and Vocal technique discussion, Setting up your mixer and post Production/Audio Compression and coding.I think that Skype Open Forum is an absolutely awesome idea, and you can count me in as your first sign-up. I think it could even make a great regular event – kind of like an on-line networking session.I guess if I’m going to be running a podcast, I have to get over my shyness – getting mentioned out of the blue by Dave (yes, I’m THAT Chris) surprised me!Can’t wait for the next episode in two weeks,-Chrishttp://www.chaoticgeek.com – Coming Soon!

  2. Question: on the Podcasters’ Emporium you have more than 3 google ads how did you do that?

  3. Maybe go with Microphones first then technique as people may be incline to rush out and buy a mic only to here about what mics later. I'm almost sold on the Blue Snowball simply because I do move around a lot and it seems to be an all in one solution. For about $200 Aussie something that has it's own stand and no mixers needed and is portable seems like a good deal:http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=blue+snowball&spos=3The Rode Podcaster seems good as well, but not as portable.Thoughts on either or a portable solution, or do I REALLY need a mixer?

  4. @Scratchy great question and suggestions. The next episode will be a sort of mix between the two things you have talked about. Microphones and technique. We are fleshing out the issue now and will be recording this week. The answer to your question is not a simple one but we will begin to give you some framework and some information to aid your decision making. We will also directly respond to it on the show.Thank you for dropping buy and taking the time to comment. We are really appreciating the feedback, questions and suggestions.
